Week 11 Activities

Week 11 March 19-23.

Wednesday, March 21 . Active shooter assembly by Upland Police Dept. P3. Note no P4 Class, and P5 class was only 30 min. RAIN! Classes indoors. Today OA student to justify their grade & use day to make up any missed work.

Tuesday, March 20  It appears the storm scheduled for tomorrow will come after 5 PM so I am hoping we can be outside one more day. Activities of the day.
1. Cont. digging footings for posts. (2)
2. Carry posts to the garden area.
3. Cut 6"x6"x25' post into two 10'sections
4. Set post. Level
5. Pour concrete footings of the posts.
6. Cut remainder of 6 x 6 into two 24" pieces to hold salad bar top.


Monday, March 19:  Cont. on Decade music blog and add a photo of oneself to blog (top right corner)

To add photo: Go to Design/layout/add a gadget (right sidebar), select Image gadget. When configuring image select "shrink to fit".

For those of you whose image is extremely large currently - follow the above steps but instead of adding a gadget, simply edit the image gadget you currently have. Then select shrink to fit.

Outside Activities: If sunny
1. collect carbon/nitrogen for the composter. IE Paper, leaves, grass, sticks, old pumpkin plants
2.  Hang fencing to cross beam
3. Cut the vertical garden rod
4  Hang vertical garden PVC 4 total
5. plant beans
6  plant cucumbers
7 plant sweet peas,  plant sunflowers
8 plant strawberries
9 repair PVC pipe at the valve
10 Dig holes for a second round of posts
11 transplant plants left in flat into cups
